Carol Singing at Weybridge Train Station – Thank you Commuters
Carol Singing at Weybridge Train Station – Raised £251.15
All the Beavers (and their parents) would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the wonderful commuters who gave so generously to all the little Beavers who beared the cold and sang their hearts out at our annual Carol Singing at Weybridge Train Station between 5pm – 7pm on Thursday 17th December 2009.
To keep the Beavers and adults warm, Parm handed round delicious hot chocolate to help keep the chills out on a very cold night. The Beavers particularly enjoyed singing “Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer” and “We wish you a Merry Christmas” and hope they brought a little Christmas Magic to all those who heard them sing on Thursday.
The commuters kindness raised a whooping £251.15, so thank you very, very much from 1st Weybridge (Brooklands Own) Beavers, the money raised will go a long way in keeping Surrey’s oldest Scouting Group going. And not forgetting a very warm thank you to the Staff at Weybridge Train Station for allowing us to sing to the commuters for another year.
